The Location
The tournament will take place at Saltford Golf Club, Golf Club Lane, Saltford, Bristol, BS31 3AA
Cost
£60 per person, £240 per team.
Prizes
There will be team prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd teams.
The winners will receive cash prizes and the coveted Bristol Beds 'Best Balls' Shield.
Longest Drive: Hole Number 5
A downhill par 5, with a difficult tee shot from the white tees, there is a large wood on the left which runs the length of the hole. The green slopes from front to back, making the approach shot challenging.
2’s club: Hole Number 11.
A picturesque par 3 to a sloping green with bunkers surrounding it. Little room for error on the left hand side and of course everything funnels towards the trouble. Anyone making a birdie will share a £100 prize pot.
Nearest the Pin: Hole Number 17
The signature hole. A drop hole par 3, with a lake fed by a stream and a deep bunker protecting the green, guarded from all sides!
On The Day
All participants will meet at Saltford Golf course for 9am where they will be greeted with a Coffee & a Bacon Sandwich, and the tee times and scorecards will be presented to the teams. First tee is scheduled for 10am.
Format
The competition will be a bowmaker Format, which will accept the two best scores on each hole.
Post Tournament
All participants will return to Brislington FC on Ironmould lane for the Buffet, refreshments, presentations and Raffle. The winners will have their team name immortalised on the Bristol Beds ‘best balls’ Shield which will be displayed in the clubhouse for eternity.
